EESI: E15 Now Approved for Use in Two-Thirds of New Cars
The Environmental and Energy Study Institute reports on a new analysis from the Renewable Fuels Association that shows that nearly two-thirds of new cars support the use of E15.
The analysis looked at owners manuals for model year 2014 and 2015 cars and found widespread approval of E15. A large number of major manufacturers approve the use of E15 in all of their 2015 models, including Ford, GM, Honda, Toyota, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, and Volkswagen.

Cleaner
In 2012, ethanol use reduced carbon emissions equal to removing 5.2 million vehicles from the road.
Less expensive
Drivers would save 5 to 15 cents with E15.
Better for engines
Ethanol is a higher-octane fuel that improves engine performance.
